editThe extraneous 'r', which was probably not pronounced when the word was borrowed (see non-rhotacism), is similar to the one in juggernaut (from Sanskrit जगन्नाथ (jagannātha, “lord of the universe”)). - -sche (discuss) 00:13, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
