Police arrest

Thorne's slang dictionary defines this word as British police slang for a recorded arrest. I could only find one citation in GBooks (and it's not massively convincing because it mentions the literal use of red ink):

• 1962, Victor Meek, Cops and Robbers (page 85)

  A register was kept at each Station in which every stop was entered, those resulting in a charge being shown in red ink. The best way to red-inkers was to work out how a thief would act, and then wait somewhere on his route home with the property.
