Not just pulling

I can’t think of a good wording, but slapping also includes playing strings by striking them with the thumb. Usually the lower-pitch strings are struck with the thumb and the higher-pitch strings are pulled and released. — Ungoliant ^(falai) 11:00, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
