@Equinox I think the editor wanted to qualify "technology of late 2010s", esp. privacy-invading social networks, surveillance capitalism etc. maybe this could be mentioned explicitly. – Jberkel 14:34, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- I suppose if the word survives, it is likely to refer to any anti-tech backlash. It isn't used to refer to Luddite attacks on automated cloth mills because those are too long ago. Will it be used to refer to attacks on drones that blast advertising through our windows in 2025? Maybe... Don't you think it's too early to be so specific? Equinox ◑ 03:51, 2 November 2019 (UTC)

- Small addition : I finally found sources. I've just added them to the French version of the Wiktionary, unfortunately without the weblinks (forbidden for new users).
