Alternate Spellings

A Google search turns up "toe head", "toehead" and "tow head". I understand according to the etymology, "towhead" or "tow head" would be the "correct" spelling, but considering language changes, should the alternate spelling of "toehead" be addressed here? Google Web search is not usually admissible for citations. See WT:CFI, WT:ATTEST. A search of books [1] finds very few such errors, though there is apparently some other meaning of "toehead". Equinox ◑ 20:50, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
