Fruit peel

edit

There is another sense relating to the peel of citrus fruit. This seems to be sometimes also used as a verb. — Hippietrail 03:49, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

French

edit

In French, to eat with zest would be manger avec grand appetit, but only when applied to eating. I'm not sure if or how I should add it though.

Etymology

edit

This page says that zest comes from French zeste and then Greek zestos. However the page for French zeste says it comes from Greek schizos, which makes a lot more sense etymologically. Jaysbro (talk) 13:30, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
