Tiggelt
Dutch edit
Etymology edit
First attested as tichhelt around 1266-1268. Derived from Middle Dutch tiegele (“tile, paving stone”) suffixed with the collectivising suffix -t. The name was potentially given because of the presence of Roman building materials, which were repurposed by the locals.
