I am a student of Japanese and Okinawan history, and my contributions primarily consist of adding Okinawan and Japanese historical terms.

I am no linguist, and do not know much about the jargon of that discipline. I would consider my Japanese ability to be advanced, and know a smattering of words in other languages. I am making use of the Nom Foundation's Nôm Lookup Tool to discover the Vietnamese Quốc ngữ (Roman/English alphabet) equivalents for Hán tự (Chinese characters).
