{also}

edit

The {{also}} tag is only to be used for items with the same sequence of characters, with diacriticals, not with additional characters such as numerical characters. --EncycloPetey 06:26, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, there should never be more than one use of {{also}} at the top of a page. --EncycloPetey 06:27, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The "also" section already had the "w/o" entry before I got to it,
additionally, wo1 etc are diacritics, they indicate the tone used to pronounciate the term. 70.29.211.163 06:28, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
As for more than one line... it didn't fit, so I didn't see an alternative, is there one? 70.29.211.163 06:30, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I see that you restored "w/o" to the "also" template, but you said that it should not include extra characters, the "/" is obviously an extra character... what's up with that? 70.29.211.163 06:40, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
The slash is punctuation. We do allow for that, such as periods and hyphens. When a list grows "too long" we start using a separate appendix page and include a link to that page instead of listing the forms at the top. See ce for an example. Judging by the listings, I was wrong about not including forms with tome marks, although they are listed separately in a different section. --EncycloPetey 15:04, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
