Wikipedia templates and modules

Please stop copying these here. Some are partly broken, some are useless, and all are unwanted. This is a different kind of wiki, and we have different needs. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 16:45, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

@Metaknowledge: I originally wanted to use Template:Demo, and then created the rest of the templates in order to make Template:Demo and its documentation page function properly. I don't understand why these templates would be unwanted. Is there a policy indicating what kinds of templates are or are not acceptable here? We already have {{temp demo}}. In general, if you're trying to do something, you can ask for help instead of importing a dozen templates and modules that aren't wanted here. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 18:09, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

As I already said, my criteria are that we don't have any demonstrated need for those templates. By the way, pings don't work unless you add them in the same edit as your signature. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 20:38, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
