IPA edit

Hi, thanks for helping with the pronunciations, but please note that after a lot of discussions here, a decision was taken to represent both British [ɹ] and American [ɻ] as simply /r/. Widsith 13:29, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

A couple of other points. If you're going to enter South American pronunciations for Spanish words, please mark them as such: (Americas) or (South America) after the IPA. Also note that, in general, we try to use fairly broad transcription; the dark /ɫ/ you have used in some words is maybe a bit too detailed as it depends on dialect – however, there is no policy on this as yet. Ah, I see what you've done with quince – that's fine. Widsith 17:11, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
