Hello, Josu. As far I know nobody's welcomed you to Wiktionary, so, welcome. I notice you have an interest in Romanica. You have contributed to quite a number of entries.
You have created a Romanica index. What confuses me is that you have recently created a second index. What is the purpose of having two indexes? (I have guesses as to what is going on, but I'm not really sure of anything.) Eric119 23:24, 11 May 2004 (UTC)
Hello Eric, Salute Eric,
The first index contains a list of parolas (50,000) and the second is a dictionary Romanica-English (24,000). Le primo index contine una lista de parolas (50.000) et le secundo est un dictionario Romanica-Anglese (24.000).
Thank you very much. Multas gratias Josu Lavin 12 May/Maio 2004
Hi Josu,
I see that you are making good progress with entering Romanica words.
A small point - when you enter the Romanica translation of an English word, if the Romanica is identical to the English, please do not wikify the Romanica translation. So, for example, on the page for "chaos", you would write "*Romanica: chaos" instead of "*Romanica: [[chaos]]" because "chaos" is the same in Romanica as in English. If you wikify the translation, it comes out bold instead of as a link. Thanks. — Paul G 14:37, 24 May 2004 (UTC)
Io essaiarai a facer lo assi sempre. Thank you very much. Josu Lavin
I'm concerned that Romanica isn't a language established to any degree. --Eean 08:40, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Josu Lavin. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Josu Lavin~enwiktionary that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
