Discussion of interest to you

See Wiktionary:Beer_parlour/2021/January#User:Liywy_is_mass-removing_Japanese_term_written_in_katakana. Your block is now limited to editing of entries. You can and should participate in the discussion to explain why you were making the changes that others object to. DCDuring (talk) 17:54, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I can see where @Liywy is coming from and I am willing to remove/shorten the block, if you (@Liywy) clarify your position and explain why you have removed valid translations for English words such as discount, pill, boyfriend, girlfriend, rival, sportsman, electronics, which happen to be direct borrowings but they do also have common native Japanese words. The reason for blocking you wasn't the actual removal (you acted in good faith but massive removal requires a prior discussion) or your message on my talk page (even if I disagree with your tone or message) but the edit warring that followed on some entries. Native speaker's opinion is always important but please engage in discussions. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:38, 20 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
