Your PIE entries

edit

Your entries *dʰelg- and *dʰalg- are poorly formatted and unsourced. The forms *dʰelg- ~ *dʰalg- also have an unusual ablaut, not usually seen in IE roots. De Vaan (EDL, page 200) is inconclusive of the actual IE proto-form and opines that Latin falx might be borrowed from some Italic language.
Please refrain from creating PIE entries en masse simply for the sake of getting rid of red links. Format and source them properly. Mallory-Adams is good but use the books from the Leiden Etymological Dictionary Series as your primary sources. In many instances, if the actual form is not universally agreed upon, it is better to leave the information at the etymology sections of the concerned entries. -- 𝓑𝓱𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓪(𝓽𝓪𝓵𝓴) 02:07, 16 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
