Thank you for adding Ingush vocabulary! A couple formatting notes: please see the changes I made here. There needs to be ---- between language sections, and it's good to add appropriate categories at the bottom. Please ask if you have any further questions. Thanks! —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:58, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, will do! Do you know how I can request an entry be deleted? Specifically this one: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/I%D1%83%D0%B9%D1%80%D0%B5#Ingush It should be deleted because I used "I" instead of "ӏ" for the palochka, and now I see in some other words on Wiktionary that the latter is preferred. So for consistency purposes, Iуйре should be deleted in favor of ӏуйре. Vladikavkaz (talk) 19:10, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'll move it for you. In the future, you can always just create the correct entry and add {{delete|created in error}} to the incorrect page, and an admin will come along to delete it. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:12, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Gotcha, thanks. How does one go about creating new categories--for example, a "pronouns" one--as well as a way to have a pronunciation guide present for adjectives, pronouns, etc.? I'm assuming it's a no-no to use the "inh-noun" for anything other than nouns, despite it having the same result for the user, that is presenting them with pronunciation information. Vladikavkaz (talk) 19:18, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, we want to keep those separate so that the entries will categorise by part of speech. You can just use {{head|inh|pronoun}} (or replace pronoun with whatever the part of speech is: adjective, verb, proper noun, etc) in place of {{inh-noun}} for them. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:24, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oh ok, thanks! Vladikavkaz (talk) 20:05, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Don't forget the categories! I'm adding Category:inh:Days of the week to your entries. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:29, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Also, for comparing cognates, you can use {{cog}} like this. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:35, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oh ok, thanks. I tried adding a Category tag for one that didn't exist earlier and it was red (due to it not existing, I presume). How do I go about creating categories so I can tag things that don't have existing categories? Vladikavkaz (talk) 20:40, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, most categories won't exist yet. If it's red, you can still add the category — you just need to create the category page. To do that, click on it and just put {{auto cat}} in the category. Sometimes the category will be a subcategory of other categories that don't exist yet, and you can do the same thing to create them all. The way you can check to make sure that you're giving categories their correct names is to check that the English equivalent exists: Category:en:Birds exists, so Category:inh:Birds can be made as soon as there are Ingush entries for birds to put in it. If the English equivalent doesn't seem to exist, you probably don't have the right name — check the categories at the bottom of the entry for the equivalent word to see if you can find what it should be called. And as always, just ask if you need any further help. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:40, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
