OpposeRising Sun 21:54, 2 December 2009 (UTC). I really think there was no need to have asked for the de-botting in the first place, but I'm not happy with RF asking again. It seems like a lot of wasted time on his part. I'd rather just create these forms myself, or have another bot account create them. I don't believe RF knows enough Ido to convince me to let him run his Ido bot. --Rising Sun21:54, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Look, Razorflame, don't take this the wrong way, I don't [and assume that others don't either] want to discourage you from editting here. It's just that having a bot account is a reasonably big deal (maybe more so than adminship), because there's the ability to do a lot of damage, even if it is unintentional. And if one doesn't know the language which one is dealing with so well, it is probably best avoided. I understand that Ido is a very regular language, but the concerns we have are valid. I'm sending you an email to explain further. --Rising Sun22:06, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not disheartened. It is obvious that I don't know the language well enough to run a bot for it, and I understand that bots have the potential to do more damage to the Wiktionary than a regular user, which is why I decided to withdraw from this vote instead of keep it going because I believe that I don't know the language well enough to run the bot.
