aakʼeed
Navajo
editEtymology
editCompare Carrier daakʼid (“autumn”).
Noun
editaakʼeed
Usage notes
editA lot of people these days insist on the alternative spelling aakʼee, because the stem of aakʼeed (-KʼEED (“autumn”)) is almost the same as the stem -KʼÉÉD (“copulate”), and is identical to some forms of -kʼééd.
