Borrowed from Javanese ꦲꦧꦶꦱꦺꦏ (abiséka), from Old Javanese abhiṣeka, from Sanskrit अभिषेक (abhiṣeka, “sprinkling, watering, wetting; anointing, inaugurating or consecrating by sprinkling water; coronation, inauguration, installation; etc.”); compare Pali abhiseka (“anointing, consecration, inauguration”).
