Etymology edit

Borrowed from Japanese 小豆(あずき) (azuki, literally small bean). In Japanese, it was historically pronounced /aduki/, but /du/ eventually transformed into /zu/, and was variously romanized as "dzu" and "zu" (compare kudzu).
