    • 1952 May, “Notes and News: Stranorlar-Glenties Branch, C.D.R.J.C.”, in Railway Magazine, page 351:
      The branch of the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee from Stranorlar to Glenties was closed to all traffic on March 10. Passenger services were withdrawn on December 13, 1947, but the line remained open for the carriage of fuel, livestock and bog ore.
