- deitsch (Moselle Franconian)
- döksch (native in much of Ripuarian, but widely archaic)
- deutsch (variant from standard German)
From Old High German *diudisc, northern variant of diutisc, from Proto-Germanic *þiudiskaz. The form dütsch is native in western Ripuarian, in central and eastern Ripuarian it is likely a compromise form between native döksch and outside forms (including standard German deutsch).
