EtymologyEdit

From Old French grace, from an early borrowing from Latin grātia[1][2], from gratus (as a favour). The circumflex is not etymologically accurate, as the Old French form is grace, not *grasce.

PronunciationEdit

grâce f (plural grâces)

  1. grace, charm
