editkiosk (“news stand”) + välta (“to tip; to turn over”) + -are (“-er”); literally a "news stand-tipper". The term was coined in the 1970s by Arne Sundberg, editor-in-chief of Veckorevyn, a weekly magazine aimed at young women.[1]
