      Recently, green carbon nanotags (G-Tags) from harmful cyanobacteria have been synthesized for use in cancer therapy because of their high solubility, excellent photostability, low cytotoxicity, and ability to induce death in multiple cancer cell lines, including human hepatocellular liver carcinoma (Hep-G2) and human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7).
