oneiro- +‎ -logy, historically from Latin oneirologia from Ancient Greek ὄνειρος (óneiros, dream)

Noun

edit

oneirology (countable and uncountable, plural oneirologies)

Oneirology should not be confused with sleep research, which studies sleep as neurophysiological phenomenon. Oneirology is more concerned with dreams as personal experience and their interpretation.
