From Ancient Greek ρητίνη (rētínē, “resin”) + -lite.

retinalite (usually uncountable, plural retinalites)

(mineralogy) A translucent variety of serpentine of a honey-yellow or greenish-yellow colour, with a waxy resinous lustre.
