1. (transitive, with dative) to understand [with dative]

   Vůbec tomu nerozumím. ― I do not understand it at all.

2. (reflexive with se) to go without saying

   To se rozumí samo sebou. ― That goes without saying.

3. (reflexive with si) to understand (another person sympathetically); to sympathize with

   Alena a Petr si spolu dobře rozumí. ― Alena and Petr understand each other well.
