     1. — Rùa đất (sơn rùa, tortues terrestres) có mai khum rắn, chân to và thấp, đầu ngón có móng sắc nhọn. Nó quen ở chỗ sơn lâm cùng đám cỏ lớn và đào hang dưới đất để ngủ trong mùa đông. (h. 103)

     1. — Land tortoises (tortues terrestres) have a hard, curved shell, short and sturdy legs, at the tip of each toe is a sharp claw. They often live in forested areas and grassland; they sleep in burrow during winter. (Figure 103).
