stimulism (uncountable)
- (medicine, obsolete) The theory of medical practice which regarded life as dependent upon stimulation, or excitation, and disease as caused by excess or deficiency in the amount of stimulation.
- (medicine, obsolete) The practice of treating disease by alcoholic stimulants.
