Etymology edit

A diminutive in -th, based on Proto-Albanian *wīja (twisted, woven), from Proto-Indo-European *u̯ei (to twist, to weave). Cognate to Latin vīeō, Sanskrit वयति (váyati), Lithuanian výti, Proto-Slavic *viti.[1]
