Cognate with Buryat үглөө (üglöö), Khamnigan Mongol үглөө (üglöö) and similar forms in Inner Mongolia.
Identified with Classical Mongolian ᠥᠷᠯᠦᠭᠡ (örlüge), which is analyzable as the comitative of *ör (“dawn”), see үүр (üür).
