EtymologyEdit

From Arabic لَحْم عَجِين(laḥm ʿajīn, meat and dough), from لَحْم(laḥm, meat) + عَجِين(ʿajīn, dough). Some of the spellings came via Turkish lahmacun. The form լահմաջուն(lahmaǰun) is considered the most literate but լահմաջո(lahmaǰo) by far is the most common.
