إِمْسَاكِيَّة (ʔimsākiyyaf (plural إِمْسَاكِيَّات (ʔimsākiyyāt))

  1. a type of calendar showing the proper times to start and break the fast according to Islamic jurisprudence.
    إِمْسَاكِيَّةُ هٰذِهِ ٱلسَّنَةِ تُصَادِفُ شَهْرَيْ أَبْرِيلَ وَمَايُو.
    ʔimsākiyyatu hāḏihi s-sanati tuṣādifu šahray ʔabrīla wamāyū.
    This year's imsākīya coincides with the months of April and May.
