Usage notes edit

  • جدید (jadid) usually means "newly acquired", and نو (now) usually means "newly made". کتاب نو (ketâb-e now) means a book just published, while کتاب جدید (ketâb-e jadid) could mean an old book which the speaker has recently bought.
