   ܩܸܡ ܡܲܕܥܝܼ ܠܲܢ ܕܠܲܝܬ ܒܸܪܩܵܐ. ― qim madˁī lan d-layt birqā. ― They informed us that there is no electricity.

   ܡܫܘܼܕܸܪ ܠܝܼ ܐܸܓܲܪܬܵܐ ܩܵܐ ܕܡܲܕܥܸܢ ܠܝܘܿܚܲܢܵܢ ܡܵܐ ܡܘܼܫ݇ܟ̰ܸܚ ܠܲܢ. ― mšūdir lī iggartā qā d-madˁin l-yōḥannān mā mūčiḥ lan. ― I sent an email to let John know what we found.
