1. (part of the tree above the ground that has been cut down and still has not lost its vitality, and has sprouted a number of small shoots around it)

   Synonym: ჩოკი (çoǩi)

   ჭუბრიშ ბუჯღიქ კატა წანაზ ელიღამს.

   ç̌ubriş bucğik ǩaťa ǯanaz eliğams.

   The chestnut bottom (the part that remains in the soil) sprouts every year.
