ᄆᆞ슴
Jeju
editEtymology
editFrom Old Korean 心音 (*MOSOm). This reflex preserves the /s/ as found in the Old Korean form and southern Modern Korean dialects, compared to its doublet ᄆᆞ음 (maweum), which was borrowed directly from Early Modern Korean.[1] Cognate with Korean 마음 (ma'eum).
