  1. A dark brown powder used in traditional Mongolian medicine "to remove heat, to promote expectoration, and to relieve cough and asthma, in the treatment of heat in the lungs with chronic cough, dyspnea, profuse sputum, a feeling of stuffiness and pain in the chest and costal regions, and chronic bronchitis".
