From the fact that most junior police officers of the Hong Kong Police Force held the academic qualification of Diploma Yi Jin, a sub-degree course for post-secondary students who fail their Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. Used by protesters during the 2019-2020 Hong Kong protests to criticize the misconduct of frontline police officers and ridicule their intelligence.[1]
