Etymology

From the Chinese community of World of Warcraft, describing an unwanted effect where the healing of a 奶媽奶妈 (nǎimā) (healer) can actually do detriment to a certain kind on character class. Hence, "poisonous milk/healing".

The term later expanded to describe situations where a prediction is bound to bring unwanted detriment to the subject of the perdiction.[1]
