  1. to cross through or over
    관광버스는 오타와를 거쳐 몬트리올로 간다.
    gwan'gwangbeoseu-neun Otawa-reul geocheo Monteuriol-lo ganda.
    The tour bus goes to Montreal by crossing through Ottawa.
  2. to pass through or undergo (e.g. regulatory examination)
