보도연맹 (Bodoyeonmaeng) (hanja 聯盟)

  1. (historical) Short for 국민보도연맹 (gungminbodoyeonmaeng, National Bodo League); an organization before the Korean War aiming for the reeducation of supposed communists. It's members are subject to indiscriminate massacre regardless whether they held communist belief.
