edit- In Sonja Lang's book Toki Pona: The Language of Good (2014), oko is presented as a synonym of lukin, alongside kin (for a) and namako (for sin). The book Toki Pona Dictionary (2021) notes that the community uses these words differently both before as well as after the publication of Toki Pona: The Language of Good.
