Category:English terms with optional capitalization

In English, normally only proper nouns plus a few specific categories of words such as the names of the days of the week and months of the year are capitalised.

There are also quite a few words which may be written with either a lowercase or uppercase letter for various reasons. This is the case with many words of eponymic origin for instance.
