Hunsel
Dutch edit
Etymology edit
First attested as hunsel in 1400. Difficult to interpret due to a paucity of older attestations. Potentially a compound of Old Dutch Hund (“a personal name”) and either lo (“light forest”) or sele (“hall house”).
