Jet Star (plural Jet Stars)

  1. A variety of low-acidity, crack-resistant tomato.
    • 1997, Mary McGarry Morris, Songs in Ordinary Time, page 104:
She leaned back and pulled another tomato seedling from the flat. She set the plant in the newly dug hole and scooped soil over its thin white roots. She smiled. The Jet Stars were always the first to bloom and ripen.
