Schilligeham

Etymology edit
First attested as apud grangiam in hammis que vulgariter skilgaforwerch appellatur in 1323. Compound of Dutch Low Saxon schillig (“bent”) and ham (“alluvial land in the bend of a river”). The second element was initially voorwerk (“monastic grange”).
