@Atitarev, Cinemantique Does this actually have a PPP and is the given one correct (taken from ruwikt)? This verb isn't in Zaliznyak but normally it wouldn't have a PPP, as an imperfective derived from a perfective verb by suffixing. Benwing2 (talk) 18:20, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

The participle обуеванный is formed correctly from the imperfective form but it's not used. I couldn't find any evidence of its existence.--Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 20:43, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

обуевать vs. обуревать

@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, Per utramque cavernam, Guldrelokk Wanjuscha ... it appears that обуевать and обуревать are both real verbs, with the same meaning; обуевать is the (uncommon) imperfective of обуять, rather than a misprint for обуревать.
