@Jberkel, Wikitiki89 Another Syriac one please. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:22, 24 May 2016 (UTC)

- @Jberkel: What font is that? It seems a little strange. --WikiTiki89 14:35, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- I guess it's still the Noto Sans Syriac Eastern font. I'm not a real expert on Syriac, but I thought that the letter taw was not supposed to connect to the letter after it, while apparently this font is rendering the taw and alaph with a strange ligature that I have never seen before. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way. The same font doesn't render that way on my iPhone. --WikiTiki89 14:51, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- I have found that the East Syriac Adiabene also uses this ligature, which I guess is good enough proof that it's supposed to be that way. It also looks more legit in that font, and I think it would be preferable to the Noto Sans Syriac Eastern version. --WikiTiki89 15:02, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll replace it. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 17:23, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Wikitiki89: Yes, it's the Noto one. I've updated the script to use East Syriac Adiabene in preference now. The code is up on gitlab, in case you want to take a peek. Maybe there's a chance to deploy it on the WMF tool servers so images can be generated automatically on demand. Jberkel (talk) 19:08, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
