genitive at Bailly

edit

Genitive singular is -εος (δίπηχυς also as in ἥμισυς) Smyth has example only for oxytone like ἡδύς, βαθύς, βραχύς. Normally compounds of -βραχύς are given with masc.neut.genitive.singular -εος (δίβραχυς#Bailly@ΛΟΓΕΙΟΝ) but oddly, the same dictionary gives -εως (for genitive?) ἀμφίβραχυς@Bailly@ΛΟΓΕΙΟΝ. Does anyone know why? Thank you ‑‑Sarri.greek  | 08:53, 30 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is -εως see Wiktionary:Grease_pit/2021/October#Ancient_Greek_adjectives_in_-υς ‑‑Sarri.greek  | 00:54, 31 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
